This superb Hotel has a fantastic reputation locally and regionally for its fine dining weddings and corporate trade. The Position As Sous Chef your involvement and input is crucial to the continued success of this thriving and growing business so duties skills and attributes will include Outstanding friendly personality with definite can do attitude excellent attention to detail real passion for food and drink with ability to bring added value to the role Have previous experience of 1-2 Rosettes as a Sous Chef Chef de Partie or above. Work with the Head Chef and Owner to Develop Create and implement fresh ideas that enhance the offering of the hotel using fresh ingredients including many especially sourced local seasonal ingredients. As Sous Chef You will be able to communicate very well and strike up a good working relationship with your new colleagues including Owner General Manager Head Chef and other Hods whilst building relationship with your team and inspiring others to develop and succeed. Part of your duties will include taking complete financial control of the kitchen so full knowledge of stock control purchasing and menu planning skills are imperative.
