What matters is that you are hands on in your understanding of the technical side as well as being a credible relationship builder and business developer. You will be given an area with a great existing client base waiting to be grown. New business skills are important later on. The initial job will be to develop the accounts in your area and grow the maximum amount of revenue from these accounts as well as picking up new accounts on an ongoing basis.
